You know, when you really strip things down to the essentials, you get four different kind of outcomes in these challenges. You get the type that there was poor teamwork and poor performance like Instant Experts. You then get the type where there is poor teamwork but a great performance like Where in Washington DC is Travis? Next theres the good teamwork but bad performance like the One Hit Bloggers.

Never did I think, that I would witness the fabled fourth outcome, good teamwork and good performance. Somehow even through the mess that was Spies Like Us, we came through. Yes our votes was eratic and yes people were shouting ideas left right and centre but heres the thing, it never seemed out of place, for a mafia game it was quite timid and thankfully everyone listened, I mean even Elise and I somehow got along. This is not a quib at the two mafia, this is a shout out to the team, I actually think we did well.

Although it wasn't the best outcome for the two mafia, it was great for everyone else, money in the pot and no exemptions in play. (We even got MB's :))

Now, I have no idea the outcome of the Story Time challenge but I think we have done quite well, from talking to my fellow writers I think we conveyed our message accurately :) Time will tell but I dont see a reason why we cannot earn big this challenge too.

It is time people. Time to air some very dirty laundry. I will adress two people and they should by now know who they are. Bliase and Elise (Ive only just realised they share four letters in their name! dun dun dun). Ok.

Blaise, you played a blinder in that challenge, I might have said a few ideas but you were the one that got this rolling and did the work. I congratulate you very highly for the mafia game. I did message you after that saying I owe you an apology but it may not be for what you think. To me, if you had just stuck money in the pot, I dont think I would have forgiven you, what did it for me was the way which you presented yourself and your commitment to helping the team advance. There was no reason to not join up with Elise and kick me out the very first round, no reason to not kick me out the second, in fact you were the one to approach me and made the mini alliance for that challenge that we did. You also got this team to focus and provided a way to move on and so...I owe you an apology. Everyone is allowed a period of selfiness, in fact who am I to tell anyone how to play the game. You understand my point of view about the four dollars versus three thing but I also understand and respect yours, you fought back in your blog but you did so without rash badmouthing.

It is with very strained reluctance that I must move onto my good old friend Elise. Elise, I dont think you have spoken to me enough to realise I am quite blunt. I am quite opiniated and I certainly have no problems with airing them. You and I now differ in our opinions, I believe that I say those things to try and get the group to find its faults and move on, you believe Im a complete a**hole. I also could not know if you are telling the truth about whether everyone else in the game dislikes me and thinks that I screw the pot up etc etc, whatever, I dont mind, if the other players think that I'd hope they would come up to me and say that. What I would like from you is to understand that my last blog was not intended the way you took it. I look back and see it was slightly (and whether you choose to believe this) and unintentionally nasty, however I feel you took it way out of proportion and got very defensive about your actions and the way my tone sounded. To me to start questioning everything about a post aside its main content is a bit 'grasping at straws' but I am saying this not because I want an argument but because I want the opposite. If you are going around trying to get other people to say bad things about me, it will only cause disharmony in the group and lets face it, thats bad. I apologise for the way that you took the posts meaning I did not mean to insult you in the slightest, but I do not apologise for the post, no matter how much you defend yourself Elise the move you made was not the correct one for the pot. If you want to throw this back at me (and I must admit I did laugh a little at your last blog entry :P) do so. I plan not on continuing this. Regarding a snide remark you made though, I do not have the impression that I am some deity of this game and I determine what is right and what is wrong. I also dont believe myself to be the definitive on how to play the game, if I choose however to have my blog posts with a negative tone is it your place to question?
